To become a freelance editor for Compose.ly, you'll need to take our grammar assessment first!

Our recruitment team will review your application as soon as possible, and you’ll hear back from us with further steps only if your application is accepted.

Note:
Due to the high volume of applications, it can take some time to process them. You’ll definitely hear from us if your application is successful. Please don't reach out if you don't hear from us immediately — we're a small team, and going through all the applications regularly is impossible for us. We'll definitely get to your application eventually. Thank you in advance for your patience.

After Your Application Is Accepted

Upon accepting your application, our recruitment team will get you started with a few paid trial projects. If you make it through, you’ll be invited to become a core editor for Compose.ly, and you’ll be able to claim as many projects as your schedule allows. To set you up for success on our platform, our team of editors will provide monthly feedback if required.

Setting Up Your Account

After you are onboarded as a new editor, you'll be sent an invite to register on the Compose.ly app. Once you accept the invite and register, you can log into your account and navigate to your dashboard. You’ll also be prompted to complete your profile so we that can match you with suitable projects.

Applying From Outside the United States

As long as you’re an editor with full-professional English proficiency and a PayPal account, nothing can stop you!

Applying More Than Once

You can apply only two times. In general, if your application is not accepted the first time, we may consider a fresh application after one year of your initial application — subject to the discretion of the recruitment team.

Project Assignment

Our algorithm will match projects with your profile based on your industry expertise, bandwidth, and other factors.
